@kbob I've been kind of afraid to try certain filaments like glow-in-the-dark stuff, after reading it's basically like printing sandpaper and chews through the machine after not too long @3dprinting @linux_mclinuxface

@kbob Also, coincidentally, I've been printing off parts for my own MMU3 all weekend. So, I'm probably just about to embark on this journey of discovery soon too :D @3dprinting @linux_mclinuxface

@aud for a second I thought that was Grover hanging out with Trent Reznor

My hoodie still smells of charcoal grill smoke from last week. This is not entirely objectionable to me

@undead He's pretty skinny, but he's very long :)

@mttaggart Well, they're offering a subscription but still with in-house ads. They're just dropping the 3rd party programmatic ads

@mathowie When we drove from Detroit to Portland, there were multiple instances of strip malls composed entirely of fireworks & porn & liquor stores directly across a border 😅

Also remember once when I drove from Detroit to Jacksonville, FL, we stopped at a fireworks store where I saw a guy with 2 hooks for hands browsing through the pyrotechnics and I was like, well, that guy paid his dues I guess.

@mttaggart What's not accurate? I got that from the article. I guess "fewer ads" but still in-house ads

@mttaggart IMO, the distinction is that their in-house ads are even more valuable now - because they can point to a target audience with the proven disposable income to pay for a subscription.

@mttaggart Yeah, so IMO the equilibrium will be subscription + ads, since subscriptions aren't sufficient either - at least not at a price most folks would accept 🤷

@jalefkowit This is the third time this week I've heard references to Frutiger Aero and Frutiger Metro and now I want to like hunt down the patient zero internet forum from which this bubbled up

@mhoye I'm still perpetually stuck on Factory Pomo, myself @jalefkowit
