Finished The New War storyline in , now getting into Whispers in the Walls.

Totally forgot the preview last year that featured Nine Inch Nails in a segment in a subway fighting monsters made out of TVs and weird techno crud. Got hyped up all over again when the mission & music started

Glad my ADHD brain decided is currently acceptable, because I love their vibe and I've been wanting to catch up on this stuff for awhile now

WIP winter wreath but there’s resin teeth on styrofoam, I’m sorry

@cederbs i feel like the little head tilt lends just a little spicy dash of unhinged 😅

A thing I never thought about before: Star Trek? No Christmas episodes. No holidays at all, really, unless they're in-universe

Like, I almost thought it was a law that American TV shows had to have a Christmas episode

Cosmo is currently in Cat Jail after a running jump into the xmas tree. Don’t feel too bad for him, though: he’s piloted this thing like a mech into the kitchen and back twice now.

I don't think we're being particularly cruel to him, because he seems entertained and is working on improving his lap time between kitchen and living room.

Also, he met me in the kitchen as I made breakfast and I gave him some treats. He seemed happy with that and then cruised away

@Cloudscout Me too! And weirdly, I have the photo of when I got my C64 :D

@socketwench I just watched him re-approach the xmas tree, lift up the basket, scoop an ornament into the thing with him, then scoot away. I don't think this is working as a punishment, per se

My brain keeps singing “🎵 it’s a swell time 🎶 taco bell time 🎵 “ and I don’t think that’s how it goes

This opinion piece is funny: He starts with acknowledging that CEOs have pissed off a lot of people.

But then he pretty much calls folks crazy and only talks about how onerous the security requirements are for CEOs.

Have the CEOs maybe considered not pissing off a lot of people?

I’m seeing a lot of folks digging into their cable hoards today to hook up new electronics. Have I ever shared my cable card catalog in my office? (okay, so there’s a few more things than cables in there, but…)

I will confess the drawers could be better organized. And the labels are actually from the previous old guy from whom we bought the card catalog, who used it to organize bolts & screws & such in his garage.

@acedtect Hmm, whiskey I'd think goes better with the coffee, but gin with the mint

@acedtect Why not both? :troll:

Started re-reading William Gibson's Neuromancer.

I forgot how much complete Mall Ninja shit he packed into the first chapter
