Sometimes work Slack is like an idle game, I'm just waiting for various counters and processes to tick over for new and exciting events to pop up with little prompting of my own

I have Slack notifications often turned off, so it's like I go off and do some work and then check back in to see how many red numbers accumulated and whether it's time for me to click a thing or buy a powerup
