@lordbowlich Yeah, I got excited about Gatsby at some point, a while ago. But I bounced so hard off it that I just ended up writing my own static blog generator, because template strings in JavaScript ended up looking way more attractive than whatever mess that was @randomgeek @genehack

@melanie I've been using Obsidian for a bunch of years now, for daily notes and to do lists. I use links between notes and tagging, light on other features. Just started playing a bit with canvases.

It's also pretty good at linking to and viewing PDFs, which I use because I have handwritten notes from an e-ink tablet as PDFs.

I use syncthing to sync all my files between a few desktops, laptops, my phone, and a NAS for backups. Works for me, but probably an over-complicated setup for most folks (probably for me too, honestly 😅 )
