So I'm playing with a LLM-infused website creator...
"Soar high, even when you're furry!"
Years from now, assuming there's a country left and we pull up out of this kakistocratic fascist tailspin, I imagine there'll be an IT hiring boom as whomever takes over has to rebuild all the information systems entirely from scratch because Elon and friends shat all over everything

A weird thing is that the title of the 2001 album "When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up" from Snow Patrol pops up in my head all the time.
Like, for some reason it was an adulting light bulb moment. Whatever is happening now, we'll have to stick around to clean up after.
@jgarber Yeah, I don't think that's unreasonable. Destruction is easy, building & maintenance is hard
I wonder if Elon & pals are going to go after the U.S. Chemical Safety Board and then we won't have any more sick videos like this
So it's a winter wonderland in #pdx. Very grateful to work at home.
I just watched a car try to make a turn at the corner by my house. The car rotated, but the direction of motion continued straight without change. Someone should really debug the physics engine
It's funny, for the longest time I've been frustrated by layoffs where the company declares "this is just organizational, not at all based on individual performance" - because it makes me anxious as hell to know that I might lose my livelihood with no relation to how well I did or how hard I worked.
But, you know, nothing's guaranteed in life, so 🤷♂️
Then, seeing Meta declare they're laying off "lowest performers" makes me realize that it could be so, so much worse and career damaging
This is one of those things that's like "well, duh" in retrospect. But, it's easy to get wrapped up in anxious tunnel vision.
@nixCraft Mickey Mouse started out this way
