I feel really dumb, but I just learned something: The antenna that came with my PC's motherboard is for both WiFi and Bluetooth.

I thought it was just for WiFi. So, when I've had the PC connected to wired ethernet, I disconnected the antenna.

This whole time I've had awful Bluetooth performance and I had no idea why. Sometimes it would work great, but for some reason I never associated that with the times I happened to have the "WiFi antenna" connected.

🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

And by "this whole time", I mean the 5 years that I've had this motherboard. 🙃

I just reattached the antenna and was able to walk down into the basement with my bluetooth headphones still happily connected.

After a bunch of YouTubing, a little blood sacrifice, and some bodily contortions, I am cautiously optimistic that I managed to fix a dishwasher today?

Replaced a water inlet valve, cleaned out a case brake, unhooked and rehooked various hoses almost like I knew what I was doing. (I don't know what I'm doing)
