@skinnylatte FWIW, I've been on CPAP for almost 25 years now. I started when I was 24 and it's made a huge difference. I've missed 6 nights, which I can remember exactly because they were all awful

I can finally turn on Vertical Tabs in Firefox (without extensions or etc)

caves of qud spoilers?

So I got through the Tomb of the Eaters quest to the unfinished floor where I had myself entombed in a sarcophagus and died after my deeds were memorialized in murals? And then, after my brain BIOS got through POSTing, I ended up in a holographic thin world where I requested a change to the magnetic field of a space elevator? And then I was reinstantiated in a fresh copy of my old body at the shore of a lake?

What even is this game? I started off fighting bears and kobolds with a pistol and a butter knife

re: caves of qud spoilers?

Oh yeah and I'm totally save scumming my way through. I'm probably going to degenerate into full on cheating with wishes and whatnot before I "finish" the story. I'm more about exploring the space of the game & lore than achieving any challenges or whatnot.

I might replay in a more hardcore mode after that - but knowing my ADHD, I will probably abruptly abandon the game for another 5-7 years.

re: caves of qud spoilers?

Also, I ran into my first Chrome Pyramid this weekend. Holy crap. Actually managed to put a dent in it before a random galgal pulled a hit & run and flattened me

re: caves of qud spoilers?

@maddiefuzz These are definitely big spoilers past that point - but also, given everything that happens in between, they're almost incomprehensible spoilers?

re: caves of qud spoilers?

@maddiefuzz I'm also floored that, like, 3/4 of the prose is procedurally generated but also highly consistent with the underlying lore

@rasterweb Yeah, I use an nginx instance to proxy out a dozen or so little docker-based apps to their own subdomains and full domains. That guide looks about right

I think there are a few servers out there specifically made for this purpose and simpler to configure, but I've never bothered to figure them out

@rasterweb The weird twist on it for my crap is I also use Tailscale. So, I have a little $20/yr linux host out in the cloud running nginx but the actual docker containers live on hardware in my basement and Tailscale VPNs them together.
