Woke up from a weird dream about, like, wizards on Lime scooters

Update: Rather than playing any of the games I bought in the Steam sale, I started re-playing Control.

It's been long enough since I last played it that I forgot how deeply I adore the vibe of that game.

And, like, I forgot that one of the first things the main character Jesse says is that she loves the cosmic strangeness of everything she's just dunked herself into

This is also a game where I distinctly remember getting through a really cool extended action sequence and saying to myself out loud "that was AWESOME" just two seconds before Jesse said the same thing in-game.

@cinebox @socketwench I haven't used a ton of debuggers over the years because the stack I work in tends to be a nightmare constellation of different languages working at different service boundaries and each component has its own devoted debugger, none of which work together, so I just give up and println everything in logs

@cinebox @socketwench Like sure, I could get good at using the {Python, Ruby, C#, golang, JavaScript} debugger but as soon as I get anywhere with one, I hit a context switch and stub my brain
