Keep kind of trying to encourage / push / guilt / shame / cajole / browbeat my brain into writing more blog posts. Doesn't seem to be working, though.
Had half an idea to try cobbling something together every week based on random crap that I tooted, kind of an ADHD jumble of weeknotes
In previous years, I used Dave Winer's OPML Editor to keep a daily outline open on my desktop that automatically published as HTML when I saved.
There, I spewed random notions that I might expand throughout the day. When the day turned over to the next, that previous day would appear in the RSS feed as a "finished" post.
But, that was before Twitter - so, like, years previous to 2006 (yikes)
In other news, I fell down a short rabbit hole from a TikTok post and found a show with these three #pdx local #synthpop bands that I suddenly need to hear more from - Human Hollow, Puerta Negra, and Romie Romak
These days, I could probably do something similar from Obsidian with my DIY static site generator that I use for my blog 🤔
Maybe publish a running note to a /now URL on my blog, then move it into a "proper" entry after midnight and start a new note
@tim_lavoie Yeah, there was a Windows build at one point, but it was definitely more a Mac native thing (if only traditionally).
At one point, davew even had web hosting for folks. Looks like the wayback machine captured my OPML blog!

One good thing about hitting up the wayback machine for my old web crap is finding weird pictures of myself before it started going grey

It’s not even alpha software, but i will get back to it someday
The follow request approval UI on Mastodon could really use some improvement for the mass import and account moving case 😞

I don’t entirely know what to do with them yet, but I flashed my little #meshtastic nodes and they already have 186 friends??
One of them (0xDECAFBAD) is plugged in upstairs and the other (deusx23) has a battery on the way. Going to take one of them on a bike ride at some point and see what that does
