@bitprophet the neat part is only the head is snap-on, the rest is joined together printed in-place and comes off the bed assembled and flexible
@bitprophet Yeah, kinda blew my mind when I first saw it work. Totally possible to design chain links that print already inter-connected.
Now, this is the stuff that really broke my brain: "fabric" made of hex panels with kind of helical loops interlinked underneath
Just accidentally woke up Catsby from apparently a super-deep sleep. He looked around like he had no idea what anything could possibly be. And I'm like, same bud, same.
@castaway They have so many creepy-cute figures! The jiggly bat keychains are great
Have given a few small 5-20 minute presentations at work in the past few weeks.
I think my current presentation style is best characterized as: outline and review the presentation, black out in a fugue state, speak rapidly, lose time, realize the presentation is over and then collapse.
It seems to be working? Either that or folks are too kind to tell me that I just spent 10 minutes staring hollow-eyed into the camera and jibbering.
@jalefkowit la LA la-la la la (over and over)
So Catsby was laying in the window soaking up sun most of the morning. I just heard a jingle and a thud and saw this next to me. I think he got enough sun for now, which I didn't think was possible #cats
Dang it, thank to endless TikToks about the new Superman movie (which I haven't even seen yet because I kinda hate movie theaters these days), I've got "Punkrocker" from Iggy Pop and the Teddybears just absolutely saturating my brain in an earworm loop
@thomasfuchs Don't ask us we will not make one for you
I mean, I really liked the song before, and that's kinda the problem. But also I really want to see the movie
@wohali I miss how once upon a time I lived walking distance to a theater and would sneak over there for deserted matinees :blobsad:
@kattni I've seen you give a talk and you definitely don't look like you're confronting cosmic horror
@kattni Heh, yeah, I know that feeling rather well 😅 Kudos for doing it anyway
@mathowie Stars, captain!
Update: the boys are touching paws #cats
This happens a lot, but I don't usually manage to get a picture of it. Catsby and Cosmo tend to be in cahoots like big & lil bro
@sixcolors FWIW, the Apple II was *definitely* corporate when I was growing up in the 80s. That was the machine they had at school and where grownups ran AppleWorks - and the hippies were the grownups at that point.
The Commodore 64 was the machine that ran games and music and all the cool demos that came on floppies with mysterious European origins.
