@mhoye Kind of rube-goldberg-y, but I've done something like that a few times before: Android phone on consistent 5G; VPN / tailscale to home on phone; IP Webcam on phone; OBS at home with IP Webcam connection as audio/video source; OBS pushing stream to Twitch or YouTube.

Remote control of OBS is fiddly but feasible. Main idea is to leave the heavy lifting of stream stuff at home and just get the phone A/V into OBS.

@jrconlin @mconley

@mhoye I'm sure there are other permutations of tools (e.g. for iPhone) and newer stuff I haven't played with for pushing a stream more conveniently from a phone. Oh and also you can push a stream from OBS to something like PeerTube if you want to avoid Twitch / YouTube @jrconlin @mconley

This whole "you're just gonna be sad for awhile" thing sucks ass

Like, you ever just wanna punch god in the dick and be like "that's for giving my cat kidney disease"?

I guess that means I still have at least 3 more stages to go in the Kübler-Ross model

mh-

I've been through this before with 4 other cats and a half-dozen bunnies, so it's not new. But it still always makes me feel like dick-punching the divine

@thegibson Ohh, I may need to print one of these

After having lived in Portland for about 6 years now, the girl and I finally ate at a McMenamins. It was fine? I'd take an out-of-town visiting relative there

An irony: the girl and I wandered by Lloyd Center, the semi-dead mall in Portland, and figured we'd check out the remnants of the food court.

What would be amazing is if Lloyd Center could assemble like a food court based on pop-up vendors or food cart crews kinda like Saluhall in San Francisco (I love that place)

My wife and I have decided to start a google doc to inventory things that we loved about Cheddars and things that Cheddars hated (she had Opinions)
