@vi_zzyzx they're always so cranky!

I don't like this rock.
Robert, it is pissing me off.

Printed a spoopy pair of Little Miko. Her kitsune is still on the way.

The one on the right had a few issues with stringy filament during color changes, but I don't think I'm annoyed enough to toss and re-print. Actually looks kinda cool

@ricmac Nuance is SO hard right now. There was so much good in the web 2.0 wave, but so much of it has been abused. Folks have so little to trust anything coming out of the next wave - which is actively being abused right now, too. Still, I think there is a lot of good to be had

@dominik It's quite possible :) That's a lot of neato stuff out there

@davidcelis The only time when that really made much sense is when we were talking about little GNU & OSS command line tools that one person or a couple could wrap their heads around

@bitprophet Smell mostly depends on the material. I've only printed with PLA, PETG, and TPU - none of those smell very strongly, just kind of a funky sweet smell. PLA is corn-based, I think? So that would make sense.

I've heard ABS (i.e. what Lego are made of) and other materials have noxious fumes, but I haven't tried them yet. I keep my printer in an enclosure, which pretty much keeps down the smell either way @dominik

@CursedSilicon oh oof, is that fiber?

@CursedSilicon Ugh, RIP to that fiber. Maybe you can use it as the fish line for the replacement? 😅

@CursedSilicon Double oof, may your future efforts go better

I keep seeing folks say happy things about Omarchy, but then I'm like... eww, DHH.

Maybe I should just try a tiling window manager sometime by itself

Catsby has squished himself between my back and my chair again. He's like a rumbly lumbar support, but set a little too low
