@banjofox I want to say, many many years ago, I used this wordpress-to-jekyll exporter that produced a pile of Markdown with YAML front matter metadata. That's turned out to be a pretty good format across static site generators https://github.com/benbalter/wordpress-to-jekyll-exporter
Just realized I have next Tuesday off as a holiday, but have too many meetings to take Monday or Wednesday off. What a weird little blip. Work is weird.
Just enough time off to contemplate walking into the forest without return but not enough time to actually do it properly

@tedmielczarek @gnomon @wordshaper I'm also seeing PSUs for retro computers gradually being rebuilt into taking USB-C PD, so I'm kind of looking forward to the day when my lil 80s basement computer lab is nearly all powered from USB-C. Kind of a weird living-in-the-future thing
We bought an IoT litter box scale because we're anxious cat caretakers facing possible kidney issues. Turns out the scale only works with an app installed on my phone.
That said, they have enough infrastructure to occasionally send me an email report. So, I *know* they have the data online and *could* give us a web portal that both my wife and I could view. They probably could even offer an API that I could (ab)use to pipe it into Home Assistant.
But, we get none of that and this annoys me.
tl;dr: Never thought I'd be musing about hacking a "smart" litter box so I can better track my cat's weight and pee-frequency.
It's also slightly annoying because we have three (3) litter boxen and only one (1) "smart" scale because we wanted to see if it would be useful before getting the other two. So, we only have 1/3 of the data that we really need anyway
@cassey Yeahhhh, if pressed, I think I'd have to admit I'm not *entirely* suited for the woods. There would be some adjustment required 😅
@neilk probably need an MCP server to select between all these skills. Or is it a skill to select between MCP servers? :thinkspin:
Had a dream that we wanted to move from Portland to Vancouver but couldn't swing the Canadian citizenship thing. But then, in the dream, Canada annexed Oregon, so that was pretty cool.
