TIL that Feist was roommates with Peaches, in Toronto, above a sex shop, back in 1999. Feist used to rap at shows with Peaches using a sock puppet called "Bitch Lap Lap"? :flan_confused:

Also, speaking of Feist, that reminds me of Beck's performance of Colourbox's 1983 song "Tarantula" with Feist, Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes), Inara George and Alex Lilly as *backup singers* on James Corden back in 2019.

I was *obsessed* with this throughout early peak COVID lockdown times. Still makes me stop whatever I'm doing whenever I hear it.

So, I have an old Dell XPS 15" laptop that I bought from work a few years ago. Just realized the palm rest is covered in a rubberized coating. And it's starting to goo-ify. Going to probably need to cover that with something, ugh

Read some Dell support forum post that suggested rubbing the coating with baby powder, but that just seems like compounding the problems :blobsweats:

Speaking of this Dell XPS 15" laptop I have: It's the last machine in my house running Windows. Been leaving it that way, just in case. But getting very tempted to pave over it with Aurora Linux? That seems like the dev-oriented cousin to the game-oriented Bazzite Linux, with which I've been very happy

@X00001 That show was better than it had any right to be

I never knew @burgerbecky, I only knew of her. The world was cooler with her in it. It's distinctly less cool now. :blobsad:

Trapped under , proving the trackball is a superior pointing device

You know, I don't think I really trust anyone who's never experienced being trapped under a friendly critter before

dang it, i'm tired and there's adulting left to do.

(i feel like robert frost had something to say about this)

@catsalad The corn husk wrapper of a tamale is perfectly edible and delicious if you try hard enough.
