Getting social anxiety doing trading in Warframe, a video game. You have to message folks, meet them in the game, and exchange stuff. Everyone's been nice, though.
My brain feels super broken, most days. 🙃

That said: friendship ended with Fortnite. Now Warframe is my best friend.
But, like, even if someone is a jerk to me in Warframe, I can block them and/or log out?? Why brain
I will say, though, in Warframe is where I've gotten hassled the least of all multiplayer games for when I don't know what I'm doing
I'm really trying to keep my toots and blog posts on the positive side of things. But, part of me is so tempted to sit down and draft a Festivus-style airing of grievances. Except it wouldn't really be funny. Just angsty and sad.
It's not been a great year. Could have been much worse - as things always can be - but it's not been great.
I've also been trying, in my semi-daily journal entries, to devote half a page or so to gratitude. That is, inventorying good things for which I'm thankful, either to the universe or myself. Seems like a good idea to try to intentionally dwell on the good, drag my perspective into a happier alignment
But, in certain daily states of mind, it takes on shades of desperation - i.e. hey universe, I really appreciate these things, thanks for letting me have them, please don't nix them next 😅
Still screwing with my blog and ideas for how and what I do with it.
I've had a few weeks of "weekposts" that have been kind of remixes of what I already posted and bookmarked throughout the week. Those end up being pretty long posts that almost could be newsletters, if I wanted to get into that business and anyone cared whether I did.
Trying to do some more smaller daily posts again this week. Again, sorta remixing what I posted elsewhere. Kind of a weird PESOS variant, I guess?
I'm also screwing with tooling for what I'm doing on the blog.
Trying to make it easier to take the energy I threw at other places (i.e. Mastodon, Linkding) and repurpose it without just copy/pasting it.
Also got some small conveniences like taking all the images I uploaded with Mastodon posts, downloading them, and then re-uploading them to my blog as a kind of natural backup / archive
@cwebber Thanks for sharing this! I've been warily circling this stuff for a year or so now, since my doc suggested it. I don't care so much about vanity weight loss - which is initially all I thought it was good for. But all the different benefits on other bodily systems are looking very attractive given my family history. And more folks I respect are mentioning starting on this stuff :thinkspin:
I'm really doubting my own commitment to Sparkle Motion ✨
