@socketwench FWIW, we got this doorbell cam from Reolink last month. Promising, so far? Has an app, but cloud connection optional. Otherwise, has a LAN web UI and can connect to Home Assistant. Has some pretty standard streaming video endpoints accessible on LAN. Can also stick an SD card in it for on-device recording review buffer.
