@tankgrrl Seems like China made a bunch of cheap junk at the request of Americans so they can build up to making better stuff overall :blobshrug: And now us Americans don't make anything at all :blobsweats:

@tankgrrl Well, I mean, okay we make some stuff. But these days I don't care about brand names, because private equity melted them all down to slurry in bathtubs. I just want to know how to get stuff from whatever factories in China are actually doing the good work

Installed a doorbell camera a couple months ago, because we are furtive creatures here. It's not a Ring. Tempted to hang a sign that reads "camera not connected to internet"
