Just scheduled my second tattoo for this guy. His name was Puck, lost him back in 2015. He was an unbelievably good pal

Puck and his sister Inanna were the first cats I took care of as an adult. They would both purr and start kneading when I walked in a room and looked at them. Puck would jump straight from the floor onto my shoulders and go to sleep.

So, after an unsatisfactory attempt at installing Linux Mint on this old MacBook Pro, I figured I'd try a network reinstall of macOS. Wow. I havent seen Mountain Lion in forever 😳

@sysop408 I tried the latest Ubuntu LTS installer, nothing but a green screen - which I read is probably due to nvidia drivers. Then I tried Linux Mint, which installed in "safe mode" and I got wifi + touchpad working but no suspend. I haven't tried any other flavors. I've had mixed results in this stuff, had a nice Ubuntu install on an old Macbook (non-Pro) years ago. Ugh.

Also, as it turns out, Mac OS X Mountain Lion is too old. For what? Yes.
