A further encouraging lack of murder last night, so i left Minnaloushe out of cat jail overnight for the first time in weeks. Woke up to him at my feet in bed, then he followed me to the basement as I went to exercise. So far, so good #cats

Surfacing after three hours submerged in Zoom, the vocal center of my brain reduced to turkey gibberish as if I've communed with incomprehensible shambling horrors like Cthulhu or the AI chatbot on tacobell.com drunk on contaminated lettuce.

To be clear, this is no comment on my fellow meeting attendees in particular. This is just what back-to-back human contact does to me.

@GrantMeStrength I've seen a few USB spinners, but they seem to go for around US$150. Makes me tempted to build my own - or figure out how to rig up the spinner from the real Tempest cab I've got in the basement

I have a doorbell camera configured to alert me when animals cross our front porch. We have people working on the house today and one of them is wearing a shirt with an animal on it. The doorbell keeps telling me when he comes & goes.

Also, there were TWO #raccoons in our pond, last Sunday night. For some reason they just really love demolishing our lily pad plant!

I need to move that camera a bit, I think - there's a waterfall and a rock pile behind that tree and the raccoons fully dismantled that too.
