Watched some of the Blizzcon announcements, and well, they got me: I reinstalled WoW and forked over some money for the first time since 2017. We'll see if this is actually fun or just ADHD. It might be both? Probably just ADHD though.

My main problem with MMORPGs is that, apparently, I don't often like playing games with other people. But I do sometimes like games where there are other people around.

I remember one of the things I really liked about Guild Wars 2 vs WoW was that there were big world events where you didn't have to explicitly form a party or a group - you could just kind of show up and start pitching in. Wish more games had that kind of thing going on.
