So, Cosmo (a #cat) wandered into my office dragging a toy-on-a-wand thing to demand attention.
Somehow, while I was a bit hyperfocused on a work thing, he managed to wind it around one of my ankles and tie a knot.
Like, I knew he dragged the toy in, and I knew he was weaving around my feet - but I didn't feel the knot until he grabbed the wand and tried to run off with it

Used half of that 1kg roll of PETG to make this thing. Hoping it’s going to work out as an alternative to the stock MMU3 buffer. Attaches to the printer frame and stays inside the enclosure. I think it ended up printing out rather well? #3dprinting

This thing kind of looks & feels like a reload for a railgun or a saw blade launcher in Unreal Tournament
So iI’m not all that sporty, but I’d like to lose some weight and live a bit longer in a functional body.
So I started using a rowing machine back in October. Just 5 minutes every weekday morning.
Felt like I would die for the first month or so. Now I’m enjoying it? And my performance has improved? Might even ramp up the duration next year? Weird.

But crimony this scrolljacking site is awful. Everything I hate about trying to turn the scroll wheel or screen swipe into an animation hand crank.
And i tried filling out the beta invite form at the bottom of the page, once i managed to get there. But, it kept jumping back up the page to previous presentation scenes.
Like man, just make a website and put a video in it and leave the scrolling alone. Leave the hand crank to the hurdy-gurdy
Along with being janky and buggy, i think the main thing i hate about these scrolljacking experiences is they’re designed to slow me down.
I guess i’m meant to bask in the animations and dwell in the reveal or something designery like that?
But i’ve got adhd and i read so much faster than is reasonable. I get the joke long before the rainbow swoop has finished drawing. You’re just frustrating me with these things, demanding too much time & attention.
