Saw a video of the Disney Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge with the giant video display behind the bar that shows them making a jump.
Makes me kind of wish I knew someone running a scifi-flavored dive bar so we could dress up a bunch of thrifted TVs as portholes and sync them all to some star flight graphics with a laptop or a mini PC or something. Like Ten Forward except on a Pakled freighter
Yeah, like picture something like this, but split up between like a dozen cheap assorted old LCD panel TVs ranging from 7"-20" set into the walls like rusty spaceship windows, all synced to show random space scenes and occasional warp drive.
Clever bit would be if there was an actual 3D engine and the screens' positions worked like portals onto the virtual space
