So I bought a portable air conditioner and fabricated a little plexiglass exhaust mount that attaches magnetically to a wooden box I shoved under my old window. No other air conditioner fits and the house’s HVAC ducts don’t really do much for this room
Feels like a ludicrous luxury, but my office stays easily 20°F above outdoor temps all year and I got tired of my brain cooking last summer
A funny thing is that the exhaust hose is warm, so cats have been snuggling up against it while I have the AC vent pointed directly at me
