Oops, I filled up my NAS drives with too-high-quality recordings from my TV antenna. This is, I suspect, a very me-flavored problem
Like do you want to accumulate, day after day, new high-quality 4.18GB videos consisting of the last 5 minutes of the local news and most of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and then neglect them all for months? Well, then we're probably me.
I will say, though, that a TV antenna, a Silicondust HDHomeRun, and Plex DVR software is a good combo to slowly accumulate the entire run of shows like Knight Rider, MacGyver, Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, and This Old House. It's like a very very slow bittorrent or usenet group with weird regional adverts
@maia did you type that with your nose
@cinebox stop all the downloadin
This, from Kachka, whose horseradish-infused vodka is a lusted-after thing in our household whenever we can find a bottle
@maxleibman Would you like to take a survey?
Me: "Huh, I'm getting really cranky."
(It's over 90F in my office and my water bottle is empty)
Me: "Huh."
