@mhoye With how much time I've spent in building RSS readers, trying to be careful about request frequency back-off and making sure I'm doing the conditional-get 304 not modified stuff - this just grinds my gears
One bad thing, though: I've discovered that the rubberized texture on the thumbsticks of this Xbox One controller I'm trying to use has started getting gloopy and sloughing off under my thumbs. Gross.
The sticks are replaceable, but yuck. Also, this particular controller is really becoming a Ship of Theseus, since I've already replaced the outer shell after the original retail shell literally crumbled under my hands. I don't think this thing is even more than a few years old
I love getting emails that are like "just emailing you again in case my previous email got buried" - and I'm like, bud, emails like yours are why emails like yours get buried. Also piss off.
The hunk Minnaloushe is making himself at home on my desk #cats
His nickname in our house is "the Hunk" because the adoption agency called him hunky 😂 also changed his given name because i always wanted to name a black cat Minnaloushe
Also, once upon a time, at a Tim & Eric live show, John C. Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule pulled me on stage and called me a "dusty old hunk"

And now Minnaloushe is really tying one on. This is him with his head buried in my foam pumpkin, trying to fish out the electronics inside.
Shortly after this, he jumped up to balance on top of my office door but i was too busy catching him to get a picture #cats
I guess all that excitement was tiring
