I don't have the disposable income for it, but I kinda really want a Slate truck. Cover it in stickers like a laptop. Drive it to the hardware store and the lumber yard, maybe an occasional grocery store trip. I bet it'd be perfect for all the 5-10 mile little drives I usually ever need to do. My solar would probably keep it topped up, even with Oregon winter sun.

The Night Wave wrap is rad. So is Purple Reign. But, what I really want is transparent Atomic Purple (duh)

This is like the first vehicle in years that I've had anything more than negative interest. I like our Subaru Outback, but it's like the least worst thing we could find.

Last few vehicles I was actually *happy* owning were: a 2008 Saturn Vue (paid off, 10 years old, solid as heck but sold it); a 2004 Ford Focus hatchback (mp3 player in the dash, looked like a ST:TNG shuttle craft); a 1983 AMC Eagle Station Wagon (my first car, 4wd, fake wood paneling, drove until a wheel literally came off)

If I had infinite money, I'd pay someone to find me another pristine AMC Eagle Station Wagon and convert it to electric. Although, I have always been fond of the 1977 Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon - maybe a conversion to electric would prevent it from exploding

anyway, tl;dr: they mostly don't make cars I like anymore, but I kinda like this electric truck :blobSmileSweating:

You know, with all the weird AI wearables brewing away in the market - like pendants, broaches, etc - I'm surprised no one's reinvented a neckband like the old style bluetooth headsets.

That, or just full-on dog-collar style. Maybe add some bio sensors and some shock points for good measure. If we're inventing the Torment Nexus, pull out all the stops!
