Surprisingly peaceful day today with the boys in my office, having found spots and not tussling over them #cats
I kind of wish that, after big in-person work travel events, they'd do a survey like "did you get sick? how many days were you sick? did you take PTO to recover?" and then figure those health impact and work-loss metrics into the cost of the next event.
I'm also constantly trying to calculate on a scale from "the extroverts are just getting antsy, you won't be missed" to "missing this event will get you fired" in order to decide whether I could possibly skip some particular away-team mission.
Miss Biscuits has decided Minnaloushe needs messing with. Miss Biscuits is a little gremlin. Minnaloushe is confused & concerned. #cats
@MichaelKlamerus I just bought it in the sale because it looked terrible / amazing but I haven't played it yet. I might have to get around to it tonight
HERE COMES A SPECIAL BOY
Minnaloushe is a big cat, but he's a very nervous cat. Also I sneeze very loud, no matter how much I try not to. Minnaloushe always wakes up from a dead sleep and looks at me like I'm possessed whenever I sneeze.
Just now, I sneezed at the same time as a garbage truck roared by the house. Minnaloushe leapt 3 feet straight up in the air out of his cat bed. He ran out of the room and down 2 flights of stairs to the basement. I found him hiding under furniture :sadness:
